It was extremely difficult to find extensions, and the interface was messy and cluttered although all that changes from today. Google have now created a “Featured Apps” section to the gallery, in which it will feature extensions the Google Wave team thinks are "particularly useful".

Google introduces a few improvements to Google Wave to make it easier to discover, browse, and sample extension gallery. "Starting at the top, the 'previous Extensions' link is replaced with 'dedicated Extensions' section, that lets you check out "Featured" extensions that our team would like to highlight.

Google Wave now answers the uses question right in its interface. When you launch Wave, in the far-right column, Wave encourages you to start a new wave based on templates tailored to specific tasks. Google Wave also allows for you to receive email notifications to keep you up-to-date with your Waves.

Google Wave is way over hyped and as people start to use it they'll realize it brings the worst of email and IM together and that is; unproductivity. Whilst looking at the Google Wave screen it's hard to know where to look.. For example, traditional email is like a game of tennis, you play with one ball and it's fairly obvious what's going on, compare that to Google Wave and Google Wave is like dodging a machine gun of tennis balls..
