So where is Google Wave going? After some time in beta there's still a lack of strategy outlined by Google for Google Wave. When Google Wave goes public in 2010 it will be interesting to see how this unfolds with the release of Microsoft's new Office and SharePoint in the same year.

Google has rarely made missteps in its 11 years. Sure, the search giant has shuttered some business plans over the years, but often those failures were either too grandiose and fell outside the company's core strengths, or too simple and rudimentary to ever grasp scale. Google Wave doesn't fall into either of those categories per se.

Google Wave will allow the recipient to see the message Character-by-Character while the sender types the message. He need not wait till hitting the Enter key to see the message. Anyway, if the sender wants to hide the message till hitting enter he can hide it by using an checkbox.
