The tutorial click rate allows tutorials on Google Wave to be filtered by popularity. To maintain this value as a reliable indicator of tutorial popularity we record what tutorials you've clicked on within a tiny Cookie file located on your machine. This file automatically gets deleted from your machine after 1 day. For more information on computer Cookies please visit surfthenetsafely.com. Please note, you may not see the click rate for any given tutorial change immediately after clicking on the tutorial due to our caching algorithm.

Tutorial categories

All tutorials are categorized into relevant sections to aid people looking for tutorials, and to define the overall purpose of the tutorial. Currently, the tutorial category is defined by the internal approval process although this may move onto the tutorial form submission. For the time being, due to this early stage with Google Wave itself we are still identifying the relevant categories and for this reason we are assigning each tutorial the most relevant category as we approve them. The categories currently available are:

  • Wave Extensions
  • Wave Robots
  • Wave Security
  • Wave User Interface
  • Facebook & Wave

All categories are available on the left hand panel throughout the site, headed 'Google Wave by category'.
